Victor Hwang
Position: Chairman
Mr. Hwang has been involved in oil and gas investments since the early 1990’s. In addition to his chairmanship of Holywell, he is also chairman of Primeline Petroleum Corporation, which has upstream interests in the East China Sea.
He is also Executive Director of the Hong Kong Parkview Group Ltd., a division of the family-controlled Chyau Fwu Corporation which has extensive property and commercial interests worldwide.
Tim Howell
Position: Director and Chief Executive Officer
Mr Howell is a petroleum geoscientist with 30 years’ international experience who has been involved in the UK North Sea since the 7th Round in 1980.He began his career with Amoco, was New Ventures Manager at Charterhouse Petroleum and Exploration Manager for Cluff Oil. He has worked extensively as a consultant and is the founder of Holywell Resources Limited.
Brian Chan
Position: Director & CFO
Mr. Chan has extensive experience in international banking and commerce. He is CFO of the Hong Kong Parkview Group Ltd. and Primeline Petroleum as well as Holywell. He is a Certified Accountant.
Alan Soulsby
Position: Technical Director
Mr. Soulsby is an upstream petroleum specialist who commenced work in 1971 in the North Sea with Burmah Oil. Since then he has worked continuously in the industry in a wide variety of technical and managerial roles. He was an owner and principal in technical consulting firms Quad Consulting and ECL Group plc. which was acquired in 2005 by RPS Group plc. He is also Technical Director of Primeline Petroleum.
Steve Lawrence
Position: Technical Manager
Mr. Lawrence graduated from London University in 1971 as a geologist. He worked in North Sea operations with Amoco and Cluff Oil and was Chief Geologist at consultants ECL. He has published extensively on a variety of subjects and is responsible for coordination of technical and operational work in Holywell.
Norman McLeod
Position: Engineering Manager
Mr. McLeod joined BP as a petroleum engineer and worked for 15 years in the production technology field. In 1992 he joined BG where he became manager of global Production Technology. Since 2002 he has worked in the consultancy field with ECL which became RPS Energy working on the project management of a number of field developments including 9 fields in Iran, Gabon and Pakistan. He joined Holywell Resources in 2009.
Chris Irons
Position: Geoscience Manager
Mr Irons is a geophysicist with over 30 years experience who has worked in all sectors of the North Sea and many internationally. He began his career with SSL in 1975 then moved to Texaco in 1982. He spent 10 years at Enterprise Oil in the North Sea and Ireland before operating as an independent consultant. He has worked with Holywell Resources since 2007.
